Three named talc models provide the starting point for this packaging-material enquiry: FT-AXB92, FT-ASB90 and FT-AYB92P. Plastic packaging and food-container materials are qualification targets, with the actual grade properties and intended use still to be established.

Keep the three samples separately identified

Request an individual specification for each candidate before ranking them for the project. The model identifiers do not provide a particle distribution, whiteness measurement or composition. Ask which sample corresponds to each technical document so the comparison remains traceable.

  • FT-AXB92: request its own proposed-grade specification.
  • FT-ASB90: identify the corresponding sample and reports.
  • FT-AYB92P: confirm the offered material and documentation.

Define the completed packaging requirements

Describe the formulation and the mechanical and thermal criteria the finished article must meet. Assess representative material against those criteria rather than assuming a heat or rigidity benefit from the talc designation alone. Record the preparation conditions and comparison basis with the trial results.

Obtain evidence for any food-contact use

A food-container enquiry does not establish food-contact approval. Request the applicable material and finished-article compliance evidence for the intended conditions before considering suitability. Review the current technical sheet, safety information, mineral analysis and particle report for the same candidate grade. Keep those documents with the application brief so a model selection rests on actual evidence and a repeat enquiry clearly identifies the evaluated powder.
