Washing, Separation and Size Classification
Washing removes loose fine material, while screening separates the grain sizes offered as filter media. A mesh range and a millimetre range need a consistent sieve basis, especially where a catalogue entry contains conflicting designations. Connect the proposed sieve result and delivered cleanliness with your equipment requirements rather than inferring filter behaviour from SiO2 content.
