Coagulant Selection for Textile Wastewater Trials
If textile wastewater needs better colour or turbidity control, shortlist coagulants against the actual stream rather than a generic decolourising claim.
Relia's PAC, aluminium-salt and relevant iron-salt proposals can be compared on their own composition basis.

From Your Requirement to a Defined Grade
Relia manufactures the listed aluminium and iron treatment chemicals in China through its own factories.
Our coagulant enquiry should describe the textile process and the stream your plant is treating. Share the current product, water conditions and colour, turbidity or sludge requirements with Relia. Different aluminium and iron salts remain separate chemical proposals, even when they are evaluated in the same trial programme.

The Wastewater Stream
PAC, aluminium sulfate and ferric chloride are different coagulant proposals. Their catalogue percentages describe different chemical bases and cannot be ranked as if they were the same active-content measure. We identify each supplied form, then compare relevant treatment results in your actual water.

Coagulants Compared on a Stated Chemical Basis
| Review area | Listed data and acceptance basis | Use in your selection |
|---|---|---|
| PAC · 6053 | The listing names Al2O3 28%/30% options. Its basicity field repeats Al2O3 wording, so request a separate true basicity result. | Keep the test preparation and reporting basis beside the value before using it in a treatment comparison. |
| Aluminium sulfate · 6294 | The entry states at least 16% Al2O3 in white granules. This is an oxide-content basis, not 16% salt purity. | Identify exactly what the percentage measures before normalising quotations or dosage. |
| Ferric chloride · 6321 | A 99%-designated hexahydrate crystal proposal. Keep hydrate, assay basis and offered form explicit. | Keep chemical identity, assay basis and the actual offered grade in the same specification. |
| Treatment comparison | Record raw water, pH, alkalinity, mixing, settling and the relevant clarified-water and sludge requirements. | Use this item to define the candidate and the evidence needed for your application. |
Compare the Product Candidates
Use these listed candidates to start a grade-specific discussion with us.
Colour and Sludge Together
Compare the defined candidates through a controlled jar-test programme using representative water. Keep pH and alkalinity visible along with the relevant treatment and sludge observations. We discuss the selected material from that evidence rather than recommend a universal dose from an assay percentage.

Different forms
Need the same comparison basis.
Colour only
Does not describe the whole treatment.
Different streams
Need relevant trials.
Different Salt Routes, Separate Grade Records
A pre-hydrolysed aluminium product and a conventional aluminium or iron salt do not share one manufacturing or composition specification. For PAC, basicity control is a production variable; for each proposed salt, assay and relevant impurities need their own basis. Keep that identity clear through dissolution and same-water trials so the comparison can explain a different treatment response.
Identify each coagulant
PAC, aluminium salts and iron salts require separate chemical specifications.
Review the actual preparation
Pre-hydrolysed aluminium chemistry is different from a conventional salt proposal.
Define the physical product
Solid and liquid forms need explicit concentration, dissolution and insoluble-matter information.
Connect to the treatment trial
Retain the individual product basis while comparing the same wastewater and acceptance targets.
- Identity
- Keep each proposed chemical and supplied form identifiable.
- Comparison basis
- Agree how assay or active-content data are being used.
- Treatment
- Record the water conditions and relevant clarification, residual and sludge results.
A Qualified Supply Proposal
Retain the selected material identity, trial record and relevant documents together. We discuss packing and supply terms for that proposal. Changes in water conditions or raw-material form give the review a new starting point.

Continue Your Material Selection
If you are selecting PAC for industrial wastewater, compare the actual treatment result on a consistent product basis.
If you buy lime for acidic wastewater, decide between quicklime and hydrated lime with your preparation and dosing equipment in view.
If you buy sodium acetate as a wastewater carbon source, compare the chemical form and effective-carbon basis before price per tonne.
