1000 L IBC Configuration Selection for Chemical Liquids
If you buy a 1000 L IBC for a chemical liquid, choose the complete tank, valve, seal and pallet configuration for that liquid.
Relia's listed HDPE IBC proposal can be reviewed against your handling and compatibility requirements.
- Liquid
- Identity, concentration and temperature
- Bottle
- HDPE and closure configuration
- Duty
- Compatibility and transport evidence

A Factory Proposal for Your Application
Relia manufactures the listed HDPE IBC packaging products in China through its own factories.
Our IBC enquiry should identify the chemical liquid and the full operating and handling duty. Give us the required valve, closure, seal and pallet information, together with any specific transport requirements. The offered configuration must be identified as a complete unit before compatibility or certification evidence is assigned to it.

The Liquid and Duty
The IBC entries describe nominal 1000L HDPE tanks with a metal cage; one entry also lists 1200×1000×1150mm dimensions. Capacity and external size do not establish compatibility with a chemical or approval for dangerous-goods transport. We match the actual container configuration to the intended liquid and handling task.

An IBC Configuration Matched to the Actual Liquid
| Review area | Listed data and acceptance basis | Use in your selection |
|---|---|---|
| IBC · 6350 | A nominal 1000L HDPE tank with metal-frame description. Confirm the offered inner bottle, cage and pallet configuration. | Review the complete offered configuration against the liquid, handling and transport duty. |
| IBC · 6280 | A separate nominal 1000L entry for water and chemical-liquid containment enquiries. Specify closures and outlet details. | Review the complete offered configuration against the liquid, handling and transport duty. |
| IBC · 6349 | The title lists 1200×1000×1150mm. Confirm actual dimensions, pallet and handling interfaces for the offered unit. | Review the complete offered configuration against the liquid, handling and transport duty. |
| Liquid and route | State chemical identity, concentration, temperature and transport/handling conditions; request relevant compatibility and required approval documents. | Keep chemical identity, assay basis and the actual offered grade in the same specification. |
Relevant Grades for Your Shortlist
Use these listed candidates to start a grade-specific discussion with us.
Compatibility and Transport
Review the actual offered bottle, seals, closures, outlet and support configuration against the liquid and handling conditions. Request the applicable documented approvals when the transport task requires them. We do not infer a pressure rating, hazardous-goods approval or universal chemical compatibility from a 1000L capacity label.

Capacity
Does not establish compatibility.
Unclear pressure fields
Do not establish pressure capability.
One approval
Does not cover all liquids.
Bottle Production and Complete-Unit Assembly
A composite IBC combines an HDPE inner bottle with closures, a support cage and a pallet assembly. Bottle production and component assembly address different parts of the configuration. Review the actual resin, seal and outlet specification and any relevant inspection evidence; an image of a similar cage tank cannot establish compatibility, reuse status or approval of the unit being offered.
Define the bottle
The inner tank has its own declared HDPE or other material and component specification.
Form the tank
Blow moulding creates the inner-bottle geometry for the selected configuration.
Assemble the unit
The cage, pallet, valve, closure and seals create the actual complete IBC proposal.
Connect evidence to the unit
Inspection, compatibility and any approval evidence must apply to the offered configuration and intended duty.
- Components
- Keep resin, valve, seal and pallet details identifiable.
- Condition
- Clarify actual unit condition rather than infer it from a representative photo.
- Approval
- Nominal 1000 L capacity does not establish liquid compatibility or transport approval.
A Clear Purchasing File
Retain the accepted configuration, relevant documents and container identification together. We discuss capacity, packing and supply against that proposal. Changes to the liquid or components give both teams a defined reason to review again.

Choose the Next Useful Guide
If your coatings plant buys TiO2, barium sulfate and calcium carbonate separately, Relia offers one contact for reviewing those material enquiries together.
If you distribute mineral powders, your customers need a clear answer about which grade suits which application.
If a promising sample needs to become a repeat purchase, make the approval record as clear as the trial result.
