Filler Masterbatch for Low-Haze PE Packaging Film
If you buy filler masterbatch for PE packaging film, the carrier pellet and the resulting film need their own approval.
Relia's listed masterbatch candidates can be reviewed against your resin, let-down ratio and film thickness.

A Factory Proposal for Your Application
Relia manufactures calcium carbonate materials for plastics and masterbatch applications in China through its own factories.
Our enquiry should identify whether you need a finished carrier-based masterbatch or the powder used to make one. For the finished pellet, give Relia the PE grade, film process and optical or sealing limits. The proposed carrier and mineral system need to be explicit before your film team compares performance.

A Finished Masterbatch Proposal
XM-T80-9, XM-T80-4 and XM-SM60 are LDPE/LLDPE-carrier pellet proposals. XM-400 is a loose calcium carbonate powder for making a masterbatch. For a film-blowing buyer, we first establish whether you need finished pellets or a powder input, then compare the appropriate material route.

Finished Pellets and Powder Feedstock Stay Separate
| Review area | Listed data and acceptance basis | Use in your selection |
|---|---|---|
| XM-T80-9 · 5788 | A finished filler-masterbatch entry with an LDPE/LLDPE carrier. Confirm the carrier ratio, actual mineral content and offered pellet grade. | Use your required finished-product result as the acceptance point for the candidate. |
| XM-T80-4 / XM-SM60 | Entries 5785 and 5771 also describe carrier granules. Their names do not establish equal haze or heat-seal behaviour. | Review the complete offered configuration against the liquid, handling and transport duty. |
| XM-400 powder · 6000 | The title states 98.5% purity and 1000 mesh. It is feedstock for compounding, not a ready-to-use film masterbatch. | Use the same particle measurement basis, then review dispersion and the result in your process. |
| Film result | State PE resin, film thickness, pellet loading and the acceptance for haze, light transmission, dispersion and seals. | Review the complete offered configuration against the liquid, handling and transport duty. |
Relevant Grades for Your Shortlist
Use these listed candidates to start a grade-specific discussion with us.
A Controlled Film Trial
Compare finished pellet candidates in the same PE film system at stated thickness and loading. Review haze and transmission together with specks, process behaviour and required heat sealing. If your line compounds its own pellets, move the powder comparison into that compounding stage before judging the resulting film.

Product names
Do not establish film transparency.
Different thickness
Changes the optical comparison.
Carrier changes
Need a relevant review.
From Mineral Powder to Carrier Pellet
Powder preparation is followed by blending with the carrier, melt compounding and pelletising to create a filler masterbatch. Dispersion, moisture and the carrier itself can affect the downstream film. Retain pellet composition and appearance information, then compare film at a fixed let-down, thickness and processing window; powder whiteness cannot establish low haze.
Define the powder input
Identify carbonate route, particle distribution, treatment and moisture requirements for the proposed feedstock.
Combine with the carrier
The resin and mineral composition belong to the specific finished masterbatch proposal.
Disperse and form pellets
Melt mixing and pellet formation are separate from the earlier mineral-production stages.
Qualify downstream use
Connect the pellet grade with film or moulded-part results at a defined let-down and process condition.
- Material identity
- Do not use a powder title as evidence of a finished carrier pellet.
- Pellet condition
- Agree relevant dispersion and moisture evidence for the offered masterbatch.
- Film result
- Measure optics and sealing at matched thickness and processing conditions.
A Purchase Based on Accepted Film
The approved masterbatch needs to remain linked to the tested film and material identities. We discuss supply from that record. A change in carrier, mineral system or end use gives your team a clear reason to compare again.

Choose the Next Useful Guide
If you compound filler masterbatch, you are buying mineral feedstock for a carrier system, not simply the cheapest white powder.
If you make PP mouldings, a stiffer part is useful only if impact, shrinkage and warpage remain acceptable.
If you source TiO2 for white plastics, choose against the resin, processing temperature and finished-colour requirements.
